Break a Project into Phases |
|
|
Each Project should be broken down into Phases. Each Phase is a manageable piece of work with a clear deliverable and time frame. It has been proven over many projects that manageable pieces of work of 4 to 12 weeks work result in less failures and better management of deadlines than a long single project. Phase planning is important for any project manager. In each phase there is facility to record deliverables, timeframe's, participants etc. Phases can be used to create Phase Plans and also to report e.g. Milestones within a particular Phase. |
