Much of the core functionality of the issue management software is based on different things that
generate action items. By combining all these action items into a manageable
chunk for the Project Manager to cut and dice, we can create a more efficient project.
For example, action items can be generated from
- Project Benefit identification (to follow up benefit delivery)
- Project Risks (what are we doing to mitigate the risk)
- Project Issues (how do we resolve the issue)
- Project Quality Reviews (what do we need to fix)
- etc.
All these action items are logged into the issue management software in a common format
and assigned to individuals. The Project Manager can then focus
on what is due or outstanding no matter where it came from.
The project issue management software can have more than one action item for each issue. In
the example below, there is only one Action Items. The screen displays the first
(1 of 1)
At the top you can see a pin. This allows you to attach documents to
the issue. If fact most screens within our project management software.have a pin to attach documents
